MISSION TRIP JUNE 17-20

Mission Trip. After a hiatus of four years, Team Gilwood will conduct its ninth annual mission trip to Lancaster County, Pennsylvania, in June 2024 to participate in a packing event at the Unto (formerly GAiN) warehouse in Mt. Joy. Unto is the humanitarian outreach arm of Campus Crusade for Christ. The plan is to drive up on Monday, 17 June, pack food, seeds, and other items 18 – 20 June at the warehouse, and then redeploy to NC on Friday, 21 June. Gilwood’s 135th Homecoming will be celebrated on November 24. Please invite family and friends to come together to celebrate what God has done in this place. If you’d like someone to have an invitation please let Mary Ann Livingston know.

VBS JUNE 20-25TH

VBS is coming up July 20-25. Our theme this year is Camp Firelight! We are looking for volunteers to help with planning, both before and during that week. If any of these talents are in your wheelhouse, we need you: decorations and design, advertising, volunteer recruitment, supervising or teaching, recreation, food, running check-in/check-out, art, music, and so much more! NEW to 2024 -- We will also have a middle and high school outward bound option, so we are in search of chaperones and drivers....
